Rampage Auditions!!

Rampage Auditions on 2nd Feb, 2008 at SAC at 3:30Pm for the DA-IICT Team.
These will be the final auditions so make sure that you are there.

Auditions will be taken by a highly reputed designer + choreographer.

Themes

1. Tribal is the compulsory theme. Every participating team will have to perform on this theme.

2. Rodeo/ Retro. From these 2 themes teams can choose any one and perform accordingly.

Rules N Regulations for the Event

1. Competition open to all the colleges and professional institutes

2. One college can register only one team.

3. Subject to the number of registered teams, there may be a preliminary elimination round. The registered teams will be informed about the same well in advance.

4. There is no constraint on the ratio of male and female models.

5. The maximum number of on stage performers in a team should not exceed 20(including the backstage assistants).

NOTE: During the show restrict the backstage assistants to 5.

6. The team will be given a maximum of 12 minutes for each round and 5 minutes for stage adjustments.

7. Negative marking will be done for exceeding the time limit.

8. The teams have to get their own apparels, makeup items, music CDs.

9. Teams can have their individual sponsors. However, the teams are not allowed to display any banner of any sponsor. An announcement regarding the sponsor’s name can be made during the performance.

10. Teams will be provided a CD player. Live music or cassettes are not permitted.

11. No props shall be provided. Teams must get their own props.

12. The coordinators have to be informed about the requirements relating to the stage, lights, and sound systems at least a week in advance.

13. No fire works, water, live creatures are allowed on the stage.

14. Teams must submit a copy of their music CDs to the coordinators at the time of registration on arrival at DA-IICT.

15. Clothing or actions that advertise or promote smoking, alcohol, or illegal drug abuse, promoting racism or intolerance, obscenity, indecency or offensive behavior are strictly prohibited. In case any of the teams feel that their sequence or a part of it is questionable under the clause, please contact the coordinators in advance.

16. Synapse or DA-IICT does not take any responsibility for any loss or damage to the items brought in by the teams.

17. All decisions taken by the synapse organizing committee will be final.

18. Event coordinators reserve the rights to disqualify any team without prior reasons being stated. Any unusual behavior or lack of discipline will automatically form the grounds for disqualification.
